Louise Oelke retired after a long career in the non-profit sector. She has been volunteering for various organizations for 50 years and is currently the Chairperson of the Saskatoon Indian & Métis Friendship Centre’s Board of Directors. Louise was born in Ile-a-la-Crosse, Saskatchewan. She is a fluent speaker of Northern (Cree) Michif and a great teacher and mentor to Samson LaMontagne.
