Patricia Laprise is a mother of three. She resides in her home community where she teaches at the Ducharme Elementary School. Patricia teaches elementary students the Dene language. She is a devoted mother and is very passionate about sharing Dene teachings with students. Patricia is an excellent role model in the community of La Loche who believes that revitalizing the Dene language is vital to our identity as Dene people.
