Christine Fiddler

Christine Fiddler is from the Treaty 6 territory of the Waterhen Lake First Nation in northern Saskatchewan. She currently resides in Saskatoon with her two teenagers. She holds a certificate as a Life Skills Coach, a BA in English Literature, and a master’s of education degree. She has had a little over twelve years of valuable experience working with the public as a journalist, post-secondary educator, and as a facilitator. Through her consulting business, Free the Spirit Consulting Services Inc., she facilitates personal development and Indigenous insights workshops and as a researcher and writer contributes her knowledge to various projects, programs, and policy development on Indigneous matters. She is currently a PhD student in Indigenous History at the University of Saskatchewan.
